Using LEGO robotics kits (Spike and EV3), this program enables students to explore the concept of robotics and its various types, while gaining hands-on experience with the fundamental components of robots. Students will learn to design and build strong and stable robotic structures.

They will also be introduced to different types of gears, understand their functions, and learn how to calculate gear ratios. The program covers essential mechanical concepts such as motion transmission using gears, belts and pulleys, shafts and joints, cams, and linkages in robot design.

This program combines engineering and physics principles with robotics design. Through practical activities, students will gain a clear understanding of concepts like torque, speed, balance, and the workings of simple machines.

Additionally, the program enhances students’ abilities to apply engineering thinking, develop innovation skills, and collaborate effectively through team-based challenges and projects.
