The program is divided into two levels<\/strong><\/p>\n

This course focuses on moving learners from being consumers of games to becoming creators and designers of digital games using the visual programming language Scratch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Program Goals:<\/h2>\n

  • Develop computational thinking<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Problem-solving skills:<\/strong> learners gain debugging skills (identifying and fixing errors)\u00a0the program prepares students for a smooth transition to text-based programming languages such as Python in the future<\/li>\n
  • Creativity and design:<\/strong> encouraging students to design game scenarios, graphics, and develop their own unique gameplay mechanics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
