- Duration: 4 weeks
Course: Robot Design
Levels: 2 Levels
Age Group: 10+ Years
Using LEGO robotics platforms such as SPIKE Prime and EV3, students will:
• Explore the concept of robotics, its different types, and the fundamental components that make up robotic systems.
• Design and build strong, stable, and functional robotic structures using engineering design principles.
• Learn about different types of gears, understand the purpose of each type, and calculate gear ratios for robotic movement and performance optimization.
• Understand and apply the basic principles of motion transmission through gears, belts and pulleys, axles and joints, cams, and linkages in robot design.
• Gain practical exposure to key engineering and physics concepts such as torque, speed, balance, stability, and simple machines through hands-on robot building activities.
• Develop engineering thinking and problem-solving skills by applying structured design processes and creative innovation techniques.
• Strengthen teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills while working on robotics challenges and projects.
The program combines robotics, engineering, and physics in an engaging practical environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.
