Scientific Competitions & Foundational STEM Learning for Young Innovators

At I Shine Innovation School, our Pre-Stemmer Program provides children aged 3 to 7 with their first exciting journey into the world of STEM, science, engineering, and robotics. Through a specialized training program lasting 3 to 6 months, we nurture the foundations of a young engineer’s mindset using the internationally recognized Playful Learning approach.

Our hands-on, play-based methodology focuses on sensory learning and introduces children to essential scientific concepts such as gravity, balance, motion, and simple mechanical systems through engaging activities and creative building challenges.

Key Learning Outcomes

Developing Engineering Thinking
Children learn how to transform ideas from their imagination into real-world creations using LEGO DUPLO®, strengthening their creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Building Scientific and Technical Vocabulary
Students develop a strong foundation in scientific language by learning and applying key concepts such as structure, stability, movement, and construction while explaining their projects and discoveries.

Enhancing Social and Emotional Skills
Through teamwork activities and collaborative challenges, children build essential life skills including communication, sharing, cooperation, confidence, and leadership.

Preparing Future Innovators

By the end of the program, children develop structured curiosity, gain confidence through experimentation and trial-and-error learning, and become capable of expressing their ideas clearly and creatively.

National STEM Showcase & Competition

The Pre-Stemmer journey concludes with a special national event bringing together students from across Egypt. During this celebration, each child presents their projects and achievements before a distinguished panel of university professors, engineers, and industry specialists, gaining valuable experience in presentation skills, teamwork, and creative innovation.
